Suno × Warner Music Group
Warner Music Group (WMG) settled its copyright lawsuit with AI music generator Suno, forging a first-of-its-kind partnership. [35, 44] The deal allows Suno to create licensed AI models using WMG's catalogue and gives WMG artists the option to participate in new revenue streams. [36] As part of the agreement, Suno committed to introducing new licensed models with more restrictions, such as download caps for users, to better control the output. [35, 36, 53]
